The North Melbourne library is much smaller than its suburban sisters.
It’s quite central, a couple of kilometers from Victoria state library.
The building is as ancient, but renovated few years ago.
In short, it is two stories, minimum surface, books, scattered tables flocked between book shelves. Homeless are sleeping in its corners, people virtually chained to their laptops accumulate around power boards, and the carpet is telling us that it wants to retire, but maybe it is just the blue-brownish color speaking.
